The Birthing of Embodied Womban

The story behind a journey of feminine reclamation

She began birthing in me long before I knew her name.

Embodied Womban was not something I sat down one day and decided to create. She emerged slowly, over many years, through my own journey of coming home to my body, reclaiming my feminine nature, and remembering the deeper wisdom that lives within us.

Looking back, I can see that the seeds were planted in my twenties, when I became a Pilates teacher. What began as an exploration of physical movement and alignment became the doorway to a much deeper awakening—one that would eventually shape my life’s work and reveal the calling I am here to share with other women.

The body became my teacher

When I began teaching Pilates, I became deeply interested in the structure of the body: how we move, how we hold ourselves, how our alignment affects the way we experience ourselves physically.

As I learned to bring greater awareness and balance to my own body, something unexpected began to happen.

I changed.

Not only physically, but mentally and emotionally. I began to see things about myself that I hadn’t been able to see before. I recognized the places in my life where I was out of alignment with my own truth. I became aware of the ways I was betraying myself, overriding what I felt, and living according to what I had been taught rather than what I knew within myself.

My body was revealing things to me.

What began as a physical practice became a doorway into self-discovery. I was learning that the body was not simply a structure to strengthen, shape, or correct. There was an intelligence within her that I had never been taught to listen to.

I discovered that my body had an inner language.

She spoke through sensation. Through feeling. Through the subtle signals that arose when I became quiet enough to notice them.

I began to understand that when I stopped trying to control and force my body, and instead allowed myself to listen, she could guide me toward greater alignment—not only in how I moved, but in how I lived.

She could reveal where I was holding on to what wasn’t true for me. She could help me recognize what felt authentic, what needed to be released, and what was asking to emerge.

My body knew how to bring me home to myself.

I simply had to learn to listen.

The awakening of my feminine nature

This listening became the beginning of a much deeper relationship with my feminine nature.

I began to discover that there was another way of knowing—one that didn’t come from analyzing, controlling, or trying to figure everything out with my mind.

It came through feeling. Through sensation. Through intuition and the willingness to allow.

Listening. Feeling. Allowing.

These became more than ways of moving. They became ways of being in relationship with myself and with life.

Over the years, my exploration of feminine embodied movement continued to open doorways. I became increasingly aware of the relationship between our bodies and the natural world, the changing seasons of the Earth, and the cycles of growth, flowering, release, and rest that move through all of life.

I began to recognize that we, too, are part of these rhythms. Our bodies are not separate from the Earth, but intimately connected to her cycles and wisdom.

There was so much more to discover about what it meant to inhabit a female body consciously, to honor the ways we feel and know, and to trust the wisdom that emerges when we stop overriding our own nature.

The body was becoming more than a place I lived.

She was becoming my guide.

The body as a bridge between Heaven and Earth

As my relationship with the body deepened, so did my relationship with the Divine.

I came to understand the body as a sacred bridge between Heaven and Earth, between spirit and matter, between our divine nature and our earthly experience.

The wisdom of the Divine is not meant to remain an idea we contemplate or a spiritual experience we reach for outside ourselves. It can be lived, felt, and embodied. It can move through our bodies and into the way we love, create, relate, choose, and serve.

Our bodies are the meeting place where the unseen becomes lived experience.

Through this understanding, I began to see that our embodied relationship with ourselves is deeply connected to our unique calling. As we become more present in our bodies, we can begin to recognize what is true for us, what is asking to come alive through us, and what gifts we are here to bring into the world.

My own calling was becoming clearer.

I felt drawn to share what I had been discovering—not simply the physical practices of movement, but the deeper journey of remembering and reclaiming our feminine nature through the body.

And I began to understand that this work was not mine alone. I was being guided into a relationship with wisdom that reached beyond my individual experience.

The Wise and Well Ancestral Grandmothers

Through my connection with and guidance from the Wise and Well Ancestral Grandmothers, another layer of this journey began to unfold.

Their presence and teachings deepened my understanding of the feminine mysteries and the importance of remembering the wisdom carried through generations of women.

They revealed to me a deeper relationship with my spiritual lineage as a priestess of the Magdalene, a holder of the mysteries of feminine wisdom.

This brought together so many threads of my life: my work with the physical body, my exploration of feminine movement, my relationship with the Earth and her seasons, my connection with the Divine, and my growing understanding of the wisdom and power of the feminine.

I began to see that these were not separate paths. They were all leading me toward the same place.

A remembering.

A reclamation.

A return to the wisdom that lives within the body and within our feminine nature.

And over time, all of these threads began to weave together into the work that would become Embodied Womban.

Why I created Embodied Womban

I believe that one of the deepest longings of women today is to feel at home within themselves.

To inhabit their bodies with a sense of belonging.

To trust what they feel and know.

To live in relationship with their own inner authority rather than continually looking outside themselves for permission, approval, or direction.

I believe we have been deeply conditioned to disconnect from this knowing.

For generations, women’s bodies have been objectified, controlled, judged, and valued according to expectations imposed upon them. Many of us have learned to override our sensations, silence our needs, diminish our voices, and distrust our intuition in order to belong, be loved, or be accepted.

We have been taught to look at our bodies from the outside—to judge them, perfect them, manage them, and make them acceptable to the world.

In the process, we can lose touch with the experience of living within our bodies as our own.

And yet, the wisdom is still there.

It lives in our sensations, our feelings, our impulses, our intuition, and our capacity to discern what is true for us.

I believe body sovereignty is a birthright.

A woman who cultivates a conscious relationship with her body begins to reclaim her ability to know herself from within. She becomes more discerning about what she welcomes into her life, what she is no longer willing to accept, and where she has been abandoning her own truth.

She begins to recognize that her body is not an object belonging to the world, nor a vessel whose worth is determined by its usefulness to others.

Her body is her home. Her relationship with herself is sacred. Her inner knowing matters.

This is not about becoming a perfect woman, nor about finding something within ourselves that is broken and needs to be fixed.

It is about remembering the wisdom that has always been here, beneath the layers of conditioning, disconnection, and expectation.

It is about creating the conditions in which we can hear ourselves again.

This is the reclamation I feel called to share.

Embodied Womban: A Journey of Feminine Reclamation

Embodied Womban has grown from all of these experiences and understandings. It is the weaving together of my life’s work, my personal journey, and the guidance I have received along the way.

It is a yearlong journey through the body and the feminine, designed to help women cultivate a more conscious relationship with themselves and reclaim the wisdom of their authentic feminine nature.

Together, we explore the body through embodied movement and healing practices that journey through the seven primary body chakras. We connect with the seasonal cycles of the Earth and the ways these rhythms reflect our own unfolding. We journey with the Wise and Well Ancestral Grandmothers, deepen our understanding of feminine wisdom, and gather within sacred ceremony throughout the year.

Each element offers a different doorway into the same essential practice: learning to listen, learning to feel, and learning to trust the wisdom that lives within us.

This is a journey of remembering who we are beneath what we have been taught to be.

A journey of inhabiting our bodies more fully.

A journey of reclaiming our own authority, our authentic feminine nature, and the unique expression of our gifts.

Embodied Womban is coming February 2027.

I feel deeply honored to share this work, because I know it has been growing within me for many years. What began as an exploration of physical alignment became a path of personal transformation, feminine awakening, spiritual connection, and ultimately, a calling to serve other women.

The body was my first doorway.

She taught me how to listen. She showed me where I was out of alignment. She led me toward the wisdom I had been searching for.

And she continues to teach me.

If there is one thing I hope women discover through this work, it is that they do not have to look so far outside themselves for what they are longing to find.

There is wisdom within them.

There is knowing within them.

There is a way home through the body.

She knows the way back to you.

With love,
